Eskan Bank announced the retirement of Dr. Khalid Abdulla from his position as the General Manager of the Bank, effective April 15, 2024, after more than 10 years’ work at Eskan Bank. Dr. Abdulla has over 40 years of experience in the banking and financial sector, gained from working in a number of financial and real estate institutions. He has also contributed to economic reform programs, particularly in the areas of education reform, labor market reform, and other contributions.
On this occasion, Her Excellency Mrs. Amina bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and Chairperson of Eskan Bank, stated: "We express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Khalid Abdulla for his active contributions to the Bank and his tireless efforts that have played a pivotal role in establishing the Bank's position as a responsible and leading financial institution in the Kingdom. Since his appointment as General Manager in 2013, Dr. Khalid has accumulated extensive experience in the field of banking and real estate investment through his work in several prestigious financial and real estate institutions, in addition to many years in the field of academic and research in economics, complemented by a wealth of active contributions to economic reform programs and various contributions in the field of public service and community service."
The members of Eskan Bank’s Board of Directors, the Executive Management, and all employees of the Bank and its subsidiaries also expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Khalid Abdulla for his remarkable contributions to the development of the Bank's business and the advancement of its business model, which has had the greatest impact on improving the Bank's financial and operational performance.
